The Atlanta Falcons finally went down this week to NFC South rival New Orleans who are on a resurgence after a terrible start to the season. Atlanta lead by Matt Ryan once again had a chance on a game ending drive. On a 3rd down play Matty Ice would escape the pocket and launch one deep to Roddy White who seemingly gave up on the play after he got behind the defense. Roddy White earlier in the week told media he felt the team could go undefeated on the season. Well Roddy I guess Karma got the best of you on that drive.
Although I don't have it documented in my Sports Box I said at the beginning of the Year that the Houston Texans were my AFC Super Bowl pick and they made me proud when they gave the Chicago Bears their second lose of the season. Chicago's only other lose is to my NFC Super Bowl Pick the Green Bay Packers.
The Last point I am going to make is about how this season has been plagued with concussions. Maybe it's because teams have to report them unlike in the old days. All I know is it feels like I'm watching the Boondock Saints with all the Head Injuries going on. So I leave you with a video example from one of my favorite movies.
Scene from The Boondock Saints (1999). Staring Willem Dafoe, Norman Reedus, and Sean Patrick Flanery.
